Senai International Airport is an airport located in the town of Senai, in the state of Johor, Malaysia. It is approximately 25km from Johor Bahru city center, and serves as the main airport for the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia. The airport has a single terminal building that is able to handle up to 4.5 million passengers annually. It serves both domestic and international flights, with destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Guangzhou, among others. Senai International Airport also serves as an aviation hub for the region, with several maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) companies located within the airport vicinity. This has led to the establishment of an aerospace industry cluster in the surrounding areas, providing job opportunities and driving economic growth.
