Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP) is a statutory body in Malaysia. MAIWP was established on February 1, 1974, simultaneously with the establishment of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. MAIWP is also responsible for Labuan and Putrajaya after they were declared Federal Territories on April 16, 1984, and February 1, 2001, respectively.
