The Malaysian Parliament Building in Kuala Lumpur symbolizes democracy and unity in Malaysia. Located near the National Monument in Lake Gardens, the complex features a three-storey main building with two chambers, the House of Representatives and the Senate, and a 17-storey tower housing administrative offices. Approved by the first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, in 1959, it was completed in 1962 and inaugurated by the third Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 1963. The construction cost was RM18 million.
